After spending 15 years in America, Mark returned home to Sydney in the mid 90’s and became a partner at Dunhill Management Services Group, a leading Australian Recruitment Agency. Mark headed up the Business Partnership Group with key accountability for Account Management including Westpac; UBS, American Express, Caltex; Westfield’s, BHP amongst others as well as being a corporate spokesperson at the 2000 Olympics for Westpac, Westfield and BHP. Mark was instrumental in securing National Sales Programs and for developing key corporate business relationships. As a result Dunhill continued to reinforce its position as a key player within the Australian Recruitment industry and sort to extend its operations globally. In February 2001 Dunhill capitalized on its success by merging with Robert Walters an International based recruitment agency. 

In 2004 Mark and his brother Phil joined forces again to establish K2 recruitment & consulting serving Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Mark’s career over the past 25 years has seen him work on 3 continents in Executive Recruitment, General Management and Sales Director roles.

Mark studied at the University of Indiana with further education at the University of California USC in Los Angeles and went on to build a successful career in the USA.  Over 15 years he worked in the arts, media, fashion and entertainment.  During Marks recruitment career spanning the past 17 years he has conducted numerous recruitment assignments from Middle management through to Managing Directors.

Mark has expert knowledge in modern business strategies, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, organizational reviews, performance management, training, and sales & marketing. Mark has also been instrumental in assisting companies maintain their competitive edge through the implementation of change management and outsourcing programs focusing on issues of leadership, management style and emotional intelligence. Mark has worked with numerous companies in advising them on organisational effectiveness, recruitment, organisational alignment and as a motivational speaker to sales and marketing organisations.

  • Represented Australia at three Olympic Games.  Mark competed in 1976 at Montreal, in 1980 in Moscow, where he won Gold and Bronze, and in 1984 at the Los Angeles Games where he won Bronze. Mark was a member of the “Swimming Mean Machine.”
  • Mark successfully created and operated the Zebra Nightclub in Los Angeles.
