David Craig has been closely associated with the pharmaceutical, agribusiness and food & beverage industries for much of his working life. After completing a degree in business at Bond University in the early 1990s, he joined his family’s Brisbane-based business in pharmaceutical manufacturing and wholesaling. The family business was sold in 1995, and David began his corporate career with Pharmacia & Upjohn as a State Sales Manager. Between 1995 and 2006 David worked for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical/FMCG companies including Pharmacia, GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis. He has held several senior positions and worked on a diverse range of categories in both large and SME organisations.

In 2006, David established his own consulting business providing recruitment, business development and human resource support to the aforementioned industries. Over the last five years David has worked with companies such as Nestle, Clasado, Cerebos, Tatura Milk, Blackmores, GSK, Pegela Pastoral Company, Neptune Bio-Innovations and George Weston Foods.

David’s interests outside of work include running a working cattle property in the Central West of NSW with 150 breeder cows and farm stay accommodation. He also enjoys rugby, both coaching and playing, and in 2009 coached his Charles Sturt University 3rd grade side to the Central West Premiership.
